Philips Lumea SC1997/00 Advanced IPL Hair Removal System

Great Product!!

I was hesitant to purchase this product but the price of having laser hair removal done by someone else convinced. While this doesn't work as quickly as commercial lasers after 3 treatments an 6 weeks I have silky smooth skin what hair does grow back is lighter and finer. It has paid for itself in just those 6 short weeks.

Two short comings of the product are that it over heats if used for an extended time. I just make sure to take short breaks. The 2nd is that the laser window is small and it's easy to miss spots.

That being said it is still a great product. Love waking up with smooth legs every morning.Read full review

I have done 3 sessions so far and I have indeed noticed slower hair growth, small patches in my legs where the hair is not growing anymore and no more mustache hair already! I am very happy with the results so far. The Lumea is easy to use, comfortable and compact, I like the design and has worked fine for me, I would recommend it to my friends :) However, I do think it is too pricey. I am aware that it is supposed to be a long term investment, cause it's supposed to last for years and years, so let's hope it doesn't break!
