I have to say that since having one of these in my garden the cats have not left a mess on my lawn so for that it's great. Sadly the squirrels don't seem to bother about it and still bury their nuts in the garden. Cunningly placed and moved regularly for a few week it is highly effective.

This is a great cat deterrent. After a couple of weeks I do not even have to have it on as the sight of it seems to have deterred all the local cats from coming into my garden. My neighbour has one too which has the exact effect. If a little cunning is used in the placement and change the location each week to ten days the deterrent effect has great power.

Cats are very cunning animals and hate getting their fur wet.

I had anticipated that it would produce more of a jet of water that might travel about ten feet or more, but actually it produces a wider spray that only reaches about five feet. This makes it less useful for our purpose, which is to discourage deer. It would work well for smaller animals.Read full review

Does the job!

We tried few different things to deter the pigeons eating the grass seed .. nothing worked. They would just sit and laugh at the ornamental nodding owl we bought!! Bought this and … no more pigeons!!! Works great!!! Easy to set up ( just be careful putting the stake in the ground as it’s not the greatest) didn’t need the extendable pole provided as we needed it low to the ground!
