Great auto pet feeder for the price!!!!!
I love this! I was skeptical of it at first but it was on sale so I figured why not.... Best pet purchase ever!! I got it cause our cats wake us up at the crack of dawn to feed them and with this you can set multiple feeding times per day with a set amount of food fed for each one. Our cats have embraced it first thing but haven't entirely grasped the idea that its that thing that feeds them now lol but mostly because the portion setting is a bit stingy kind of. If you have 4 cats you may want to get a second one of these as 1 wont be enough for them all to share lol during feeding time. As for the portion control theres multiple portions you can set for it to give each time, however the portions are kind of small imo so you have to set the number a bit higher than 1 for it to give a good amount of food to food multiple cats. If you have 1 cat you may want to set the portions to 3 or 4 portions each feed time, but whereas if you have multiple cats then youll want to set it much higher each feed time unless you have a second auto feeder so they dont have to share. It's very easy to use and to figure out how, the instruction are very easy and the buttons are easily labeled and it auto locks so no one can mess around with it and give extra food like young kids or someone. Plus if you don't want to wait for the scheduled food time you set theres a manual button you press and it will start dropping food in the bowl until you press the manual button again to stop it. I just have 2 gripes about it. The portion amount (isn't to much of a hassle though just add more portions to be dropped in) and the lid on the bowl. The lid doesnt really snap on quite well and doesn't come off as easily either, you have to twist to get the lid off but have to make sure you twist to the left otherwise if you twist and pull up youll pull the bowl off the machine and the food will spill everywhere. But other than those 2 things this is definitely worth the money especially if you can find it on sale like I did!!Read full review

Great for being away from the home
Great product, definitely worth the money! Super convenient and easy to set once you get the hang of it. I bought it for my cat who struggles to pace her eating and it allowed me to feed her when I'm not home and go out of town for the weekend without worrying. I mostly got it so she won't wake me up at 3 am with her hungry cries, lol.
My improvements would be to have smaller portions, because it's quite a bit in a meal for my tiny cat. I also wouldn't hate if it was connected to an app and I could control things on the app or dispense extra meals or something, but for the price, great value!!Read full review

Adequate for cats
I have two of these feeders for both of my cats. I feed three to four times a day a little at a time. It has the ability to feed once a day as little as 1/4c (approx) food up to 5 times a day and over two cups (approx) food. It has a plus and battery options. ONLY PROS.
I used the feeder to feed 7 street cats during weekends. We can create up to 5 meals per day adjust the size of each meal so all 7 cats will have food during the day.
The feeder is placed on a pet house we build with wood so it does not get wet.
We have racoons stealing all food in 1 night inthe first trial. For the second trial we created a larger wood base and covered the feeder in wood. We remove the wood cover with pins, which is easy. We always set or program the feeder leave Friday afternoon using power from batteries. Cats are fed Saturday and Sunday. Monday morning, we removed the wood cover, and then turn switch off to save battery. Friday we program it again (FAST ANS EASY) and leave it again outside.
When feeding manually during weekdays I just miau and they hear me and they come.
The feeder comes with the recording and volume option. Sound is not perfect but cats hear and come.
I needed a cheap programable cat feeder and this was the best solution I could have found. In fact I was expecting to pay over $100 for this item. I ended up paying a fraction.
The feeder is pretty. I would use it at home, but cannot as my cats eat different food.
CONS:
For me none. For people looking perfection the product may have minor problems. There is no back up battery so the programming get lost if you remove power source such as batteries or USB cable

Quirky but effective
A bit tricky to program. Always have to remember to hit the manual button at the end of your programming. Also, I've found that if I try to adjust the volume on the greeting, I lose my programming. HARD TO BEAT FOR THE PRICE ANIMAL FEEDER
This feeder we use for our cats. The good is that you can program multiple feedings a day at specific times and vary the amount of food that is dispensed. It holds more that a weeks allocation of dry food and relatively easy to clean.
The entire unit is made of plastic and I don't see a way to attach a metal food bowl to replace the plastic one. The timer uses a military time digital clock so setting the cycles takes a little time but once you get the hang of it -no problem. The gauge of plastic used in the inside food troft apparently is not thick enough since both units that I purchased had stress cracks. One of the features of this unit is you can record a message to alert your animal that food has been dispensed. I found the sound quality to be poor but I guess your animal will get the message.
