I was quite amazed on opening my new purchase mainly at the size and weight of the camera but my doubts were soon brushed to one side. It's so easy to use and carry about , I bought it mainly to do some Green screen imaging and it works wonderfully , the picture quality is just great. Just love it.

I freelance as a local photojournalist and bought this as an alternative to the Nikon DSLR I usually use for short videos to accompany my photos.
I was surprised by the quality of the video when compared with the Nikon (at first I used both as I wasn't sure of the Panasaonic would be good enough).
But the biggest surprise was the quality of the shots at maximum zoom. I had considered getting a long telephoto lens for my Nikon for occasional wildlife photography. But the Panasonic does a great job of this. I also amaze friends by zooming in on a house which is just a speck in the distance. Great little camcorder
I don't think I know enough about it yet to get the best out of it ,instructions are basic ,needs more technical instructions to get the best from it , ie settings and what they stand for as we are not all wizz kids
