A viewing revelation

We hadn't realised just how much TVs had improved since our last purchase. The size and picture quality are fantastic, much more depth and range of colour, plus so much sharper in HD. Catch up on Freeview play is brilliant, too. No more forgetting to record things, and then watching a poor-quality replay.
It was easy to set up with the instructions, even for me. Just one important point was that the auto tune only selects the standard broadcast, not the HD versions, so we were slightly disappointed with the initial sharpness. Our son-in-law soon sorted that by finding the HD programme numbers and swapping them in moments. Planet Earth is mind-blowing now in HD.

Very good TV for the price. Excellent Contrast and Deep Blacks. Very Sharp Picture on full HD channels especially with 4k Upscalling turned on. A Rare Occurence

I researched this LED TV and many others in the same category before making a decision. It's also a risk, when buying refurbished equipment, that you might end up with a Lemon! - especially since it may not be possible to view it working.
The vast majority of owner reviews conclude that this is a top quality, well made, high specification product.
I wholeheartedly agree. It is intuitively easy to set up and operate and presents beautiful displays across the spectrum of Single, High and Ultra High Definition. The sound quality is more than adequate for most situations but is enhanced by adding a sound bar or similar.
I am an honorary member of the Grumpy Old Men association, but this Panasonic has left me with very little to crticise.

Bargain really for the price, You will need to manually tweak the settings or you will suffer the soap opera effect, The optimum settings they say online will give you a picture that will spoil your viewing, Worth taking the time to adjust every setting.
