Panasonic sound bar
Good product and great sound + connectivity.
I have connected to my Sky Q box using an optical audio cable. Essentially a optical fibre cable gives great sound especially given that there is no separate large sub woofer to cater for. The sound bar is well designed and sits unobtrusively below the tv. It has clear voice and surround sound options and 80 Watts output is more than enough.
I did have a little difficulty on set up with the sky Q box as HD programmes would not play any sound? So I went on to the internet and after a few read throughs the suggestion was to go to settings in my skyQ then select audio out put and set it to ‘normal’ not Dolby - worked a treat. So I have full connectivity and control the volume using my sky remote which was also quite easy to do.
The Bluetooth is a great option so you can play music in my case from an iPhone. I did experience a connection issue so I disconnected the optical audio Cable from the sound bar and connected with my iPhone and then reconnected the cable. Connection works great every-time.
This was a very good value product from a good manufacturer - Panasonic.
Please note the optical audio cable I had to buy separately as it was not supplied with the product as standard. You can get them quite easily either form eBay or as I did from Argos, for under £10.00 just make sure you check the length you require before you buy one.Read full review

Fiddly control and not HMDi and had to use another control remote to adjust the sound , there is far to much base with can not be control , even

To much base even surround sound or voice is selected

Sound is good for the price but there may be better soundbars if you have a bigger budget. My Panasonic tv has reasonable sound anyway so I don't have the 'bar on all the time but is useful and an improvement for some programmes. . .but this becomes a personal choice - especially if you have a large room. A woofer might also be worth considering. Bluetooth pairing was easy and great for streaming. . as was the little remote. For best results cut the sound on the tv when using the soundbar.Read full review

Panasonic SC-HTB8 2.0 Channel 80W Home Cinema Soundbar Bluetooth Wireless
I bought this from Tesco outlet on Ebay, I paid £40 for it so wasn't expecting too much for the price I paid, I am 65 and my hearing isn't as good as it was so I wanted something that would amplify and give clear audio.
This arrived ever so quickly, a day earlier than expected, so delivery was excellent, The packaging was superb, I expected an odd mark or two being a graded product but when I unwrapped it the sound bar was brand spanking new, no marks anywhere. I could tell from the packaging that this particular one had seen no previous use.
I tried it out feeding it with an MP3 file from my laptop via the sound bar's blutooth input, pairing the device is very simple, and when playing music the sound bar's audio reproduction is very good, you would have to have a real ear for music to fault this product.
I also tried out blutooth from my phone, and optical input from my T.V. all were very good and easily connected via the devices optical input.
I am more than happy with my purchase so much so that I may buy another for my daughters Xmas present. I can wholeheartedly recommend this product supplied by Tesco outlet on Ebay, Thank you Tesco outlet team keep up the good work!!!!!

Brilliant bit if kit for the price.
I bought a reconditioned unit but it may as well have been brand new. The unit was flawless and included a brand new remote. Only thing it lacked was connecting leads but they can be bought cheaply. Sound quality is a massive step up from TV speakers with the added bonus of bluetooth connectivity. An absolute bargain.Read full review

Very average in all ways that matter
The soundscape lacks bass and the mid range gets harsh very quickly at relatively low volumes. The lack of any kind of digital display makes using it more difficult than it needed to be. The surround sound can be quite convincing and bluetooth is easy to set up and works well. At £80 I would have been disappointed. However I bought a reconditioned version at £40 and it does improve the sound from my tv's speakers.Read full review

Easy to use with good features
This is a good quality soundbar at an entry level price. If you're tight for space it projects a decent surround sound but for me requires the addition of a subwoofer to give it a bit more depth - otherwise I would recommend strongly as a value for money soundbar option.Read full review
