Nice VCR for playing tapes. I'm converting 50 tapes to digital and this is perfect. No remote but not necessary with the front display buttons. Simple, easy to use unit has performed well so far, as VCR's even when new are notorious for failing after a short period. Great VCR so far!

Purchase to convert old VHS family videos and I am loving this VCR so far. My old DVD/VCR combo tried to eat my memories, so I went on the search for something better. I was very pleased with my purchase and very pleased that I made the right choice by going with Panasonic after seeing a couple of video demonstrations on them and when I received it and tried it out I was able to play all my VHS tapes unlike with the ge general electric unit that I had bought before where I was only able to play a handful of tapes and the audio and picture quality wasn't that great where's with the Panasonic unit everything was 100% the audio and picture quality was clear crisp I would dare say it's like watching a modern HD quality that's how great the sound and image quality on this unit is and I would also like to give credit to the seller for making sure that the item was packed safely cause the unit is almost like new condition so again I'm very pleased that the second time around I got my money's worth.Read full review
