Good camera but not very good conversion

It is in perfect condition with all its accessories. But I'm disappointed with the picture quality. I wanted to replace my Sony DSC-F717 with another camera making easier to capture infrared images than the DSC-F717. The Sony DSC-F717 captures better quality images in infrared mode, but you need to use different ND filters for proper exposure. Converting a purchased Panasonic camera to infrared doesn’t seem professional. I removed the infrared filter from Panasonic DMC-TZ3 sensor. Thus, it became a full-spectrum camera. With IR filter in front of the lens, it captures better images than in purchased state.

An old 'un, but a good 'un.

I own three of these cameras, two still working perfectly. Despite their age and moderately low pixel count, I am still frequently amazed by the quality of the images they produce and the very good build quality. A great buy

I had one of these for some 30 years but the LCD screen went wrong so I bought this used one for a fraction of what I paid for my first one so many years ago and although black as opposed to my original silver one, it seems excellent and has a more update system as well as being slimmer. The Samsonite case was a bonus at the price I paid which was £17.94 including postage was a bargain and I am very pleased with my buy.Read full review
