Little Camera, Big Results
The Panasonic DMC-TZ10 is a superb camera with a 12x optical zoom and an extensive range of features. It is realistically small enough to put in the pocket and very easy to use. Good camera, with secondhand hazards
I have been a longtime fan of the Lumix TZ series, and regularly go for models a few years old to keep the price down, as being mainly a photographer of mountaineering activity I can be quite hard on them. This was my first TZ10 and it does take great photos. I didn't use the GPS feature at all. The TZ10 seems to be a bit better than the TZ8 at handling low-light situations when in Scene mode.
Unfortunately, 2 weeks after purchase the LCD screen went black! Absolutely no blame to the seller, it is just what happens with electronics, random luck. It seems that replacing the backlight is about the same price as another secondhand camera, so back to the market I go. Caveat emptor.Read full review
