Panasonic DMR EX99V Black DVD & VHS Recorded with 250 gb HDD Freeview
This model with its diversity of functions is very easy to use. Five years ago, I bought one brand new and it is still going strong. There is a lot of memory on the Hard Drive which can store approximately 80 programs. The pictures are sharp and clear on all functions HDD-DVD and VHS video tape. Would buy the same model again as Panasonic is a name I trust.Read full review

Excellent multi-recording product
Superb product which, unfortunately, is no longer made. It enables transfer each way between Hard Drive, DVD and Video and also records directly from television (for private use only!). I have owned one for several years and bought this for my brother. Streaming services appear to have brought about the demise of this product.Read full review

Good value, keeps pace with competition.
All ready have a Toshiba and this machine compares well with that.
Would love it if I could output from the HDD to my PC to edit the files without having to go through the disk burning procedure.Read full review

Nice for digitalizing and editing VHS-C home movies
Easy to transfer VHS-C movies to harddisk, without loss of quality, and easy to edit precisely, all by using the user friendly remote control.

PRACTICE WITH YOUR PANASONIC
FIRSTLY, THE MACHINE LOOKS GOOD AND ISN'T HEAVY.
THE FEATURES BUILT INTO THE MACHINE ARE LIKE ALL MODERN
ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE COMPLICATED TO START WITH BUT
WITH THE PRACTICE IS DOESN'T TAKE TO LONG TO UNDERSTAND EACH DIFFERENT PROGRAMME AND SUB PROGRAMMES TO GET THE MACHINE TO DO WHAT YOU WANT IT TO DO.
TAPING FROM VIDEO TO DVD AND VICE VERSA IS EASY AND THE
QUALITY REMAINS VERY GOOD BUT DOES RELY ON THE QUALITY OF THE DONOR RECORDING.
HAVING USED SEVERAL DIFFERENT MAKES OF BLANK DVD'S, IT
IS MUCH BETTER TO USE THE TYPE THAT IS RECOMMENDED IN
THE HANDBOOK PLUS YOU NEED A LITTLE PATIENCE SOMETIMES WHILST THE MACHINE IS DIGESTING YOUR INPUT
BEFORE CONTINUING. HAVING USED SP AND LP TO RECORD
ON DVD'S, THE QUALITY REMAINS VERY GOOD, HOWEVER, ON
XP THE PICTURE AND SOUND START TO FALL APART.
OVERALL, A VERY GOOD MACHINE AND THIS RECENT PURCHASE IS THE SECOND PANASONIC I HAVE OWNED AND
CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.Read full review

Very versatile
As well as all the normal DVD player/record functions, this is a handy tool for playing DVD's and even old VHS tapes from all regions of the world with no hassle.
Added bonus of dubbing old tapes onto DVD,
Being Panasonic, it automatically links to same type TV.Read full review
Very versatile
Amazing product, very good video reproduction, excellant dvd, could do with a bigger hard drive. You will need the enclosed manual.
Great machine does what it is supposed to do
I love the machine as it does what it is meant to do and works well. Only thing is that I knew it is not possible to download the content from the HDD to an external drive directly which is a shame as 250GB is not that much if you have a large collection of tapes, but everything else is great.Read full review

A great machine, perfect for playing and backing up old VHS Tapes!
Although this is an older model it still does the job it was designed for. Interface screen look a little old fashioned and it has a standard definition Tuner but its main purpose is to have a machine that can play and back up your VHS tapes that you may have recorded over the years including VHS 'c' camcorder tapes with a suitable adapter.Read full review
