This is Panasonic. Dated but Panasonic, which allows RAM discs which may be edited.
I have used this model for 14 years, one from new then four more from eBay. I have three working at the moment (you can tune three remotes to three machines) and mean to stick with this model until they finally become really obsolete. When they die they die and at eBay prices to buy it is not worth repair. I use them to record TV on RAM, edit the recording, and transfer to DVD-R to keep. I need subtitles for deafness and it all works well for me. Some times they will fail to auto set-up but Panasonic sent me a disk on request to sort this out. I need two recorders to do what I need and have just bought this as the spare. This one is fine but needed the Panasonic disk to get it to set-up. Ancient but Great.Read full review

Good easy to use DVD recorder
I have two of these. Both have worked well but they do pack up eventually. I had one repaired but it's cheaper to pick up a second hand one ion eBay.
Easy to use and the advantage of dvds is you can record one one machine and play back on another.

I purchased this model of recorder as it is identical to the one of mine that has ceased working.
This allowed me to directly replace it without the need for technical knowledge.
For some reason it has not always recorded. I have had ten years of experience setting the same
