Pure jongo s3 speaker

Looked for a long time for a wireless speaker for home and came across the pure jongo s3. After reading many reviews decided to get one and am very happy with my decision. Pros:- bluetooth and wifi compatability, good sound lots of bass, different sound options, quite small only 113mm x113mm x135mm, built in battery makes it portable, easily connects to bluetooth and has its own app for wifi and pairing multiple speakers as well as using it with your own music and all the radio stations you could ever want. Cons:- takes quit long to charge and the display screen on the back is small. Bluetooth is not built in. It is done via a small dongle on the back which is supplied. Very impressed with this small speaker. I got a discounted one from Pure but after having this would quite happily pay the full price for another of there collection.Read full review

Great connectivity, louder than expected!

Good piece of kit. Very easy to add to an existing Pure system. Much louder than we expected too. This is helped by having the sub-woofer on the bottom edge so it reverberates through whatever surface it is standing on. sound quality is very good, but obviously depends on the quality of the source.

The bluetooth function is handled through a usb dongle which is a little annoying as it could easily get lost, and also has an annoying flashing blue light that we found totally unnecessary (liberal application of a black permanent marker helped to alleviate this)

unit gets quite warm whilst the battery is charging but that's not really a problem for us. I'd buy another one without hesitation if I needed to.Read full review

jongo sx3

for the money i dont believe you could buy a better multiroom audio system. as an individual standalone bluetooth speaker the sound is pretty good- not as good as a bose- but probably 7/10 of what the bose can do for a fraction of the price. i got a 2 for 1 deal on the sx3 so with 4 of them i have audio across the house. pretty easy to set up, although nowhere close to the sonos setup or app- the pure app is a bit complicated but spotify works fine. the sx3 is pretty small too so easy to hide in a corner.Read full review

Amazing value from Velocity Outlet

I bought two of these on a BOGOF from Velocity Outlet for £80. They're amazing quality for the money and the multi-room streaming technology, whilst a little clunkier than Sonos is really effective.
