See useful tips............
I'd heard good things about POR15, and had high expectations.
I've only just finished my chassis so am not in a position to judge the final effectiveness of the paint itself.
It was easy to apply, although impossible to avoid a finish that looked like someone had thrown sand on the surface as it was drying!
In the end I had to rub it down with Wet & Dry paper before applying Chassis Top coat to give it the required UV protection, and achieve a reasonable finish for a chassis.I would not recommend it for something that will be on show requiring a reasonable finish.
Be prepared for the lid to utterly seal it self back on after the first use!
Do not get it on your skin - it is impossible to remove once dry! - and takes a weeks worth of scrubbing to get your skin to exfoliate back to normal!!
Useful tips:
- leave the lid in place : stab two holes in the lid at opposite sides and pour the paint into a dish. Seal the holes up by laying a small pieces of card over it and use the surplus paint to make its own seal - works a treat.
- wear latex glovesRead full review
