The wife loves it. I don't
During our married life we've had maybe ten or more of these machines. To me this represents a huge waste of money. To my wife this represents years of easy cleaning and value for money. To me it represents hours of listening to that annoying hissing while I'm trying to work. To her it represents the necessary killing of bacteria, whether I can concentrate or not. To me: the gradual erosion of my paintwork, grouting and plaster. To her: effortless cleaning. To me: the inevitable sound of the seals having gone somewhere on the machine and the need to send it back to Polti for a repair. To her: easy stain removal. To me: a piece of Italian engineering akin to the old Alfa I used to drive which fell to pieces. To her: clean carpets. To me: rotting underlay. To me: useless. To her: Essential.

Great performance and build quality
Not the cheapest but worth it. Variable steam (unlike my old cleaner) means you can get just the right amount to clean the floor without having to dry it. Floor head easily takes any cloth so cut up an old towel to make several cloths, unlike some other makes you don't have to buy special cloths. Window cleaner is good too, also used for tiles round the shower.Read full review

This is my second Pollti steam cleaner
comes with lots of attachments to tackle various cleaning jobs. I mainly use it with the iron attachment bought separately several years ago. My 1st Pollti I bought many yrs ago second hand and it still works it was the hose attachment that broke, which I could have replaced but decided to upgrade to a newer more powerful unit and I’m pleased I did.Read full review

Can't do without.
I 've owned the Eco Pro 3000 for at least 10 years. I bought this model for a friend to use in their home. Only when you get the appliance home and get to know how powerful it is and how useful each and every attachment is will it truly dawn on you that every single penny you paid for it is more than worth it. As time goes by and you realise it is your "go to" tool for many tasks. Eventually, when the day comes far further down the line that you want to replace it.
