can't use this meter

I bought this product to monitor my grow lights but the meter doesn't measure high enough.
My lights are 230w and the meter doesn't measure that high.

Did not work and not sealed as described

The KILL-A-WATT was the correct item as described but was not “sealed “ or new condition. When I plugged it in, it did not display anything. I found the 15 amp 250 volt thermal fuse blown.

Simple & fairly inexpensive electric use monitor

Bought this to tell if my dehumidifier and battery charging system is working on my shrinkwrapped ( sealed & closed up for the winter) boat. Ground prong fell off on day one

I've owned several of these over the years and we use them at work to service small HVAC systems such as dehumidifiers.

Unfortunately, this particular unit failed very quickly - the ground prong detached on day one, rendering the unit unsafe for continued use, so now it is a paper weight.Read full review
