Cleans kettles easily of limescale.
Cleaned all the lime scale of the inside of my kettle in ten minutes. It left my kettle sparkling and looking like new again. It’s easy to use. All you do is half fill the kettle with some water and bring it to the boil, then add the sachet of Oust. Do it a tiny bit at a time as the Oust makes the water bubble up and if you are not careful it will overflow out of the kettle. That’s why you only HALF fill the kettle. Leave for ten minutes and rinse the kettle several times. I filled mine with clean water and re boiled it a couple of times. My kettle looked like new. Oust descaler
I bought a new kettle as mine had given up the ghost. I was advised to use a descaler in my new kettle every three months. I chose Oust from recommendations and can only say it’s great took ten minutes and I had a perfect clean descaled kettle with no hard work that takes about fifteen minutes to complete the total job. Works a treat
I descale my kettle about once a year. It's a steel kettle because metal gets the water hotter than a plastic kettle before switching off, but after you descale them once the deposits build up sooner. Oust is great for the job. I use one sachet to loosen the bulk of the scale then a stiff brush to loosen much of the rest. Then I use one more sachet of Oust to clean it up like new.Read full review

Oust all purpose descaler
I do clean my kettle with white vinegar and it comes out ok but every couple of months I like to use oust as it does a thorough job and leaves the inside of my kettle sparkling without any residue.
