Works OK but would not recommend this model

This is an older model. I only bought it as a drop in exact replacement of what I had been using.

Hopefully newer models are better but probably are not - This model eventually (year or two) starts leaking slowly at valve seals and then major leaks at internal seals - being made in China, the quality of assembly seems variable as you might expect. I had to buy this one as the other "new" one from another supplier failed catastrophically out of the box. Uses AA Batteries, would be nice if used larger batteries for longer replacement interval.

Works great when you want to have something watered and not have to stand over it every day! works flawlessly and holds up in the weather, only thing that could use a little improvement is the programming is a little counter intuitive but easy enough to figure out if you study it a bit, got it right once I actually read the directions so you may want to keep them for later use! Great product with minor quirks

No complaints. Minor quirks: All zones in a schedule share the same start time. Station B will start after station A ends even though it shows station B starts at the same time as station A. Start time is a concept of the whole schedule, not station. Initial valve status could be On, which is undesirable but can be easily corrected. Time setting takes time since you have to go through all 24 hours and their minutes. Read full review

Functional item, this item came without manual but evenso it took me about five minutes to find out how to program it. I imagine that with manual even easier. Really very versatile. Multiple scheduling of run times. Easily controlled by manual Knob.
Not high tech by using an App, but works great where irrigation to pots is needed for elderly, (fall risk parents). Even they can turn the know on/off instead of holding a hose.Read full review

Poor Product

I had two of them quit and I had to go back to watering manually as the timer wasn't working. I'm afraid to put out any more of them as we are having 100 degree plus weather and I can't afford to have any more plants burn up because of a faulty timer.Read full review
