Orange Whip for pre-round warmup and swing training

I've been using the Orange Whip for several months and am very pleased with the way I can swing it a few time getting warmed and to get some feel for the swing timing prior to a round. My cousin tried mine and had me order him one to help with building up some strength and stretching of left shoulder hurt in a fall. I swing it between rounds to keep my muscles toned and strong. I would recommend for all golfers to put it your bag and use regularyly.Read full review

A tool that works

Product as described, still in great shape. Have used it for five days and feel it has made my swing smoother and more effortless. Nice to help groove your swing. Purchased after a teaching pro had me loosen up with his. WorksRead full review

Excellent for loosening up.

Stretching an loosening up before a round is important. This not only is a swing trainer and strengthening aide, it is excellent for stretching and loosening up just before a round. I also try to swing it 100 times a day 5 days a week. I’m gaining distance which at 70 years old is not easy to come by!
I do recommend it!

Great product

Using orange whip to improve timing on my swing has netted me about 25-30 yards more distance. I am a high handicapper in my 70s, and would recommend this for anyone serious about improving not only your swing, but your overall game enjoyment.Read full review

Awesome training aid!

What is very nice about this training unit, is that, if you use it daily, it assist in grooving your swing. There are certain areas of the body that you feel you are not doing right (i.e. weight transfer, follow through, weight on inside of right foot on back-swing) that you will implement due to practice swings. I just think it is an awesome device.Read full review

Good for warmup

The OW has a nice feel to it. As advertised, its inherent physical properties make you want to swing it smoothly and have a smooth transition, and the weighted ball and whippy shaft help you feel the lag of the club head more dramatically than you feel it with a normal club. I think it's probably especially good for warmup and strengthening. As for correcting swing faults, that will vary depending on what the player's swing currently is.Read full review

Good senior tool!😁

Finally a piece of exercise equipment that is not destined to be parked in a corner with clothing hanging on it. I actually use it.
Even though I can't use it in the house I take outside every day and stretch all my tight achey muscles. At 73 I need movement. Beats walking a dog!
Improves my swing too!

Trains pull, not Push Action in Golf Swing

You can't push, or come over the top, using this whip. Actually you can, but it feels very awkward and you could even hurt your elbow as the weight of the club puts stress on it when done incorrectly. Advice: Start slow and build up speed.

The point of a training aid is to learn intuitively by feel, not by thoughts/advice. Still some words on what to do would be useful.
