Lovely projector good image and colour. Really easy to use and setup ... fan not to loud but you can hear it on the quite bits in a film just like white noise ...

Great projector for the money. Short throw works really well.

After staying at a house that had a projector system, we were really impressed. That was a long throw type and the projector was near my ear so the noise of the fan was a bit annoying. When we got home we looked at we could do.
We thought a short throw would be best for us, and with our room layout a portable tripod screen.
The projector we had experienced at the other house was 4K and about £1200. So I was a little worried with quality, but I am pleased to say the Optoma GT1080E is a cracking bit of kit. With a Blu-ray or 1080p content the picture is excellent.
We have a 84" screen and it is like experiencing films you know, all over again. Very pleased.Read full review

The image is super sharp and even up close the pixels are not obvious or obtrusive. Nice clarity on small text.
