Worth the money!

I bought this to replace an eight year old machine which was not medically certified. Much prefer this model - easy to use with very good instructions. I have found the 'average' facility very helpful as readings can vary considerably. Good, well designed arm cuff and very clear display. Yes you can buy cheaper models but as this one is medically certified my GP is happy to accept home readings.Read full review

Blood pressure machine sufficient for home use.

Quite unpredictable readings that didn't tally with accurate manual readings with a stethoscope and professional gauge. Sufficient for non professional use though.

Excellent product

I've been using the m3 for years and I recently upgraded to the M6 and I find it very easy to use.
The new hand band is easier to use. The display is better and the memory for two users is great.

Omron M6 automatic arm blood pressure monitor.

A really good machine, easy to use and much better than having to visit a Health Centre constantly. It has left me much more relaxed and less tense when having a blood pressure taken.

A reliable measurement

I have recently used two or three different portable blood pressure units and whilst each has been fairly simple to use...each one has provided different readings/measurements which has left me feeling unsure as to the real accuracy of the unit. The M6 Omron has proved to be fantastically accurate. I even took the unit down to my GP to test against my own GP's blood pressure unit and both times it measured exactly the same as the GP's one. This has inspired a great deal of confidence when using the product. I have to measure my bp daily and it is important to me that I get the accurate readings. with the M6 Omron, I now know that I can trust it. My only gripe is that it is a little too expensive really and I would have liked to see it marketed at a more reasonable price - say £40 instead of the £60 that I had to pay.Read full review
