as basic a recorder as you can find...thats why it was sold on..sound is just barely audible on full volume with rechargeable batteries or good AA..my old genexxa from late 80's was better when new (and 20 years later)..but had become too noisy recording the motor internally (dismantled & binned)..i switched the microphones (bit of soldering) seems to help slightly (or i imagine it does) dont waste your money buy a higher quality olympus or another brand..on the 1 and only plus side the blue case looks nice..specsRead full review
