It'll last for quite a few more years.

Compared to the first E-M1 this is a major improvement, and at an affordable price. It is both more rugged and has easy to navigate functions, is quite rugged and more , strongly built versus its predecessor; one example being a larger distribution of 6 tripod mounting plate screws vs a smaller one for the original E-M1 with five, and a much more robust body overall and many more features. Small package, giant capabilities

I purchased this recently and will be learning the features of this camera for a long time to come. The power of this small camera is amazing. The complexity of the menu system is a bit daunting, but I am quickly learning to master at least the essentials. I have had time only to take a few family pictures so far, but the picture quality is every bit as good as the reviews promised. It is a great camera. I look forward to some great photographic adventures with it.Read full review

A super bargain pro grade camera

The OM-D E-M1 Mark ii is a superb camera. It has 95% of the features and 99% of the image quality of the E-M1 Mark iii at significantly lower cost especially since it can be bought used for around half the price of the Mark iii. The latest firmware (v 3.2) brings the auto-focus capability up to the standard of the Mark iii and even the MX1. The menus and controls are extensive but in my opinion more confusing and less intuitive than Canon, Nikon or even Panasonic. But, once you master them they become a non-issue. If you can find a good one used I recommend grabbing it.Read full review

First rate camera!

If you’re not beholden to having the biggest sensor, and value portability, this camera and system may be for you. The mark 2, like its predecessor, is responsive, fast focusing and makes pleasing jpegs out of camera and of course RAW files. The amount of customization you can do is mind boggling. This is a first rate tool to make nice pictures. I can’t speak to the video making part of this because it’s not what I do. I’ve loved the system since the E-M5 came out, and I’m so pleased with the array of lenses available and their quality. Being weather-sealed is a plus.Read full review

Awesome camera, filled with lots of pro features in a compact package.

What a nice camera. I am ecstatic t o be able to shoot with this camera. Maybe it doesn't have all of the bells and whistles of the Mark III, the newest of the line, but it has more than I am ever going to know. It is very fast too. The burst or continuous mode is incredibly fast. The image stabilization built into the camera is also very impressive. I can't wait to put this camera through the paces and get to know it better. Almost perfect

I enjoy this camera soooo much! Adapting it to my vintage lenses is fun and gives me great shots. The focal length is completely different than my fx Nikon, so it is like buying 5 more lenses to use.
I would say the quality is equal to the D700, except for dynamic range. I definitely want to take this one with me everywhere i go.
Eventually I will want more iso definition in the shadows. That will come when Sony A 7 falls into my cheapo price range.
For now, I will enjoy what i have.

Innovative camera

Great handling, new features such as keystone correction. Love the zoom lens. Extra lenses are reasonable priced.
