Good intro to VR

Bought as it was a relatively cheap way to check out VR at home. WOW whilst it may not have the best clearest picture it works perfectly with my pc and project cars on steam . Well worth £40 can't recommend this enough just be patient searching the software for windows 10 you will need version 0.8.0.0 from oculus google it you will find it you won't find a link on the oculus webpage as they want you to buy the £600 version the comparability checker is a waste of space it said mine would not run it but it works just fine go get yourself one of these bad boys

Brand new box, works fine, but a few issues.

The rift came it in it's original packaging and it was very easy to set up: just install the runtime and you are good to go. The problem I have with it is the screen: it's too low resolution! Everything is very blurry (I have good eyesight and made sure to change the lenses) and the screen door effect is apparent. You can't make out any detail of people's faces (for example) unless they are very close to you. Great for the money, basically a better cardboard, but don't expect 4k resolutions or the quality of a HTC Vive at this price! Read full review

Horrible introduction to VR

Picked this up cheap, the problem came about because of the unit and oculus who have discontinued all support for the dk1 by removing the share oculus site making finding working software very difficult, a problem exasperated by very poor support for Windows 10.
All this aside I persevered but due to being short sighted and the provided lenses not being sufficient to cope my experience made me horribly ill.Read full review
