Oase Biomaster Thermo 250 great canister filter

So writing this a few weeks after purchase. The filter was easy to set up and is performing well. It is nice and quiet. The built in heater is good as saves space inside the tank and simple to adjust temp without needed to get your hands wet. Some other nice features make this a very good external canister filter. Well made and designed. I hope the weeks and months ahead continue to prove as positive as the first few weeks of ownership. Only holding back the fifth star as still early days.Read full review

Great external filter

This is a really robust filter. Sturdy in construction and easy to maintain. My water clarity and conditions have been excellent since I changed my filter to an Oase Biomaster.
The pre-filter needs regular rinsing, but this is really simple to remove without taking the filter apart.
