Cheap and cheerful device that does the job!

This device is old now and does no not benefit any fancy colours or pie charts.
What it does do. Is clearly display the main information you want. How much enerty you are using right now , who much so this week. What the carbon footprint would be. How much it is costing.
Very easy to fit and range seems ok, 10-15 meters and through walls.
The only down side is that due to its age Two of the batties (AA size) needed to be replaced but I might have just been unlucky

Good basic monitor

It's part of the excellent product range from owl, however it's very basic compared to the other model, with is more expensive but in my opinion worth it... If you want a basic indicator then this does the job, if you want an depth view or history no...- get the cm160.
Is this value for money ? At around £45 yes.

Electricity monitor

Easy to set up . For E7 meter may need a second sensor to read power for switch over to storage heaters - they are usually on a separate feed to second consumer unit .

Excellent alternative to a smart meter.

Our eon supplied smart meter home unit died, as we had moved suppliers for cost reasons we had no hope of getting a replacement. This installed in minutes and is just as accurate.

Does not do the job I thought it would

Doesn't give daily, weekly or monthly totals. Current usage appears inaccurate - varying wildly when no change in the appliances in use.

Simple, easy to use wireless product!

Easy to set up and use!
Constantly shows me what I want... approximately how much I'm spending per KWH currently.

Owl Micro+

This model is very limited to what it can do and you are better off buying the USB model as you can download you data on to a computer.

It didn't work, kept jumping up and up, it said I used £456 every other day, sent it back.
