Porch light
I am over the moon with this purchase, I bought it to use in a small porch that had no light or fitting rather than go to the trouble of getting an electrician in. The light fitting is perfect, I used the adhesive strip rather than screw the fitting into the door frame as I will be taking it with me when I move. The light is cool white, similar to halogen car head lights and more than bright enough for me to unlock the door or sort stuff out in the porch. Good value porch light
This is successfully throwing a good, bright light on my dark front door. We used the adhesive tape and, so far, it is still attached. It took only a few seconds to fit this above my door. We found that the range of the sensor was too wide and the light was coming on every time a car went down the street. I copied the idea of another reviewer and covered part of the sensor with a white sticker. Since then, it comes on just as we approach the door. Perfect to help us see the keyhole. Overall, we are impressed with this light. We don't expect it to last for years at the price we paid. Osram's website describes this light as being suitable for outdoors if in a shektered location.
