Does exactly what you expect...
...and what you need. Gone are the days of the bucket brigade. This has cut down the time for water changes drastically, with virtually no spill. Very simple to operate and works like a charm. The upgraded brass fitting is also a nice touch, as that would probably be the first part on it to wear out, but the fitting looks pretty solid.

Be prepared
You will have issues finding a faucet that it will work with. I’m still working in it. I tried several adapters none of which worked. I’m gonna try finding a brand new faucet that it will fit, and change my faucet. Once you are able to join it up, you should be good to go for many years. I had a python i bghd past, and it was really awesome. I’m my opinion it’s worth the trouble if you have a large tank or several small ones. It’s a big job with buckets and quick and easy with the python. Just know, you will likely have problems finding a faucet it will work on. Maybe you will get lucky first try. I love the Python No Spill!! My tank stays crystal clear because it's so easy draining the water outside and adding water inside. You literally hook it up, turn the water on and clean. My water pressure is low where I live even with low water pressure the python still works great. You have to leave the water running when cleaning the gravel bed when done you can shut the water off the python will continue removing water just at a slower rate.Read full review
