Nintendo 2DS Launch Edition Blue and Black Handheld System - Black/Blue

Made me rethink Nintendo all over again!

I used to be a huge fan of the Nintendo GameBoy systems and had them all the way up until they replaced them with the DS. Now the DS I thought was an interesting system but got more into Console gaming so I never gave it a thought.

I am a Pokémon fan and with this year being the 20th Anniversary of Red, Blue and Green (JPN) I got out my GamBoy Advance SP and was sucked in all over again! Then I made the choice to get the 2DS (No need for 3D, plus cost too much new just to have the 3D)

I am thrilled with the 2DS! All the same hardware of the 3DS minus the flip screen (which can break) and the 3D! And at only $99!!! How can you beat that!?! With the Nintendo eStore I can download games straight onto my 2DS and be playing in minutes! =) Great quality, and great technology! The touch screen I thought would be hard to get used to, but it just feels right! Great product Nintendo!!! I cannot wait to see what you may do next with the handheld market!

Great product for a great price

The Nintendo 2DS is a great alternative for the regular 3DS. While it doesn't have the 3D capability of the 3DS, it makes up for it in a smaller, clearer screen. It also has a good battery life given how much it can do.

The 2ds

My son loves this product but will sadly have to wait till his birthday to get it I just let him use it to see if it works and not only that but he just loves it but his only complaint was that there is a crack in the screen just a little one but it still bothered him and he said he didn't really see it in the pictures.Read full review

Worked well till I broke it

The 2ds got here very quickly and worked fine. There was no sd card in the machine but i had one to spare. I played all of fire emblem awakening on it with no problems at all. Great device! Only problem is that sometime when I dropped my backpack which had the 2ds in it the inner screen on both screen shattered. This is clearly my mistake and i do not fault the seller whatsoever. 2ds still rocks.

I really wanted to grab one of these. I was told that since the Nintendo DS these were the best value you could get for your money if you are looking to play retro games. Even though it looks fragile, it is well constructed. The software is very intuitive and the games run nicely. 2DS Odd to some people

I own a 3DS XL and a New 3DS XL but there's something about this strange redesigned gaming handheld. It has no 3d feature, missing the stereo speakers and no longer flips close and I LIKE it. It feels great in the hands and I like the one piece design of the 2DS, the screen is brighter than the reg 3DS I think and it doesnt make my hands tired from holding it like the 3ds xl does to me. Does everything the 3DS does in gameplay and lower in price. I had one in the past, sold it..but then repurchased it! I know it has some hate and I cant understand it.Read full review

Nintendo 2ds

The 2ds is a small yet fun portable console. Many people (from what I heard), don't give it enough credit because of it's smaller screens and not having a 3d feature, although in my personal opinion, I love it!
