The focusing ring was way, way to stiff for normal use and that wasn't stated in the comments on the lens. You couldn't look through the view finder and focus at the same time it was so stiff.

Very flexible lens to own

Yes it's a micro but is great at infinity too. Super fast, great to have in bag at all times. My bag always includes this, and the 180 ED. Between the two, enough for most any shot.

The 55mm micro nikkor

I did not know the 55mm nikkor had been made. I thought it was just the 60mm.
