I already had a D750 and needed a back up because mine was in the shop, that was the one and only reason it was purchashed. If you are looking for a DSLR, what I write won't be useful to you because our needs will be different. But I will say it's fast, consistent and offers sharp images, if you use a good lens, a steady hand and understand settings. It's a lifelong learning process. I like that you can set your image size, but I don't like the loud shutter.Read full review

Big Step Up

This camera is a big step up for me in the photo world. I haven't had much chance in the few days I got it to use it. But it is a lot more complicated than the Nikon D5300 I used to have. I am going to have to read the manual and learn the use of all the buttons and menus.
