Best bang for the buck Full Frame back todate

Takes a bit to get use to comming from Canon to Nikon. Seem more functions and definitely more buttons giving faster access to more features. Mode dials, direction of on off and metering for a start seem reverse to Canon. Both mode dial and metering function and reading are reverable in Menue. Excellent build and good light weight, Plus love the articulating screen even if it only tilts. High light priority, Dynamic Range and Stills IQ are better on the D750 then the 5D3. Not so much stills with the right glass but Dynamic Range is superior especially if one shoots in raw and edits in post. No comparison. But Canons is smother in video at 3200 ISO and better to be far. I appreciate every day the major savings in price ( for extra glass ) and tilty screen plus added features of this body over the 5D3 which I used for over 4 years. I lost my equipment and had to start over, so I went with Nikon this time.Read full review

Great Value for a High Quality Full Frame Camera

I wanted to up my game by graduating to a full frame camera. I didn’t want to compromise, but I didn’t want to break the bank.
I’m not a professional photographer and I don’t make poster size prints, so 24 megapixels was fine wit me. For the price, this camera is terrific. It has all of the features I could want. It is lightweight, well built, and it produces great images.
Like any full feature camera, it has a bit of a learning curve, but that isn’t a barrier for me.
I don’t think I’m ever going back to buying new photo gear. A good used product is such a great deal.

D7100 upgrade

This purchase was an upgrade from a D7100. So far, performance is as expected - larger viewfinder is a welcome change, incredible iso performance, grip is a bit more comfortable,
and some nice additional menu options, not to mention the movable display screen.
I spend a lot of time outdoors, so the weight compared to the D7100 is barely noticeable.
Comparing images from the two cameras may be subjective, the D750 definitely has more dynamic range, which is noticeable.
Only real bad issue is I loose that 1.5X crop factor in the D7100 - The D750 DX mode is odd in
the viewfinder, but accurate, The 1.2X crop also came in handy when using the 28mm on my old Tokina 28-70mmf2.8.
Wish I would have bought one sooner.

Better than my D610 in some cases better than the D810

This is one of the top star/night time cameras. The dynamic range is amazing. I bought two for using in a professional setting. My husband and I are wedding and portrait photographers. I am one who believes in getting better glass over getting a better camera. However, this is a great camera! We bought two to replace our D610s that were stolen. I like these better than the D610.

I think Ken Rockwell put it perfectly "The D810 is more of a special purpose camera for people who need a quiet DSLR or for nutjobs who actually think they need 36 megapixels, while the D750 is what most people, including myself, really want."

Of course you aren't going to get the huge megapixels or top, top, top quality you will with the flagship camera. But I don't need hug megapixels, and the quality on the D750 is still amazing! I am also not spending $6500 on a camera either though.

Awesome Full Frame Nikon DSLR

After using a D700 for years and loving the image output, I decided I needed a second DSLR as either a new primary or a back up. Since the D700 was introduced years ago, the D750 made sense for me. It shoot primarily landscapes and automobiles. The output of the D750 is even more awesome than the D700, which is no small task. Colors are awesome straight out of the camera. Capturing details in shaded areas does not disappoint. Menus are unchanged from what I’m used to.Read full review

D750 perfect balance

As an owner of second D750 I'm very happy. I have in last year had a D4,850,Z7 and all a great. The D4 I should have kept . But z7 and D850 are great cameras but way to big of files , and media is expensive. They also show any weaknesses of non pro level optics because of the intense levels of MPs.
The insane iso ranges are something I've never ever used. I pair mine with 58 1.2 noct,50mm1.4 ais,105 2.0 ai,180 2.8 as, 400 2.8 . Also 24 1.4 g afs,28 -300 afs,50mm 1.4 af d , Tokina 24-70 2.8 which is a highly recommended choice.
I think 24 mp is more than most people will ever need. And the images captured are on same level as aforementioned previous bodies . Until you crop to insane levels. Nowhere near as heavy, shots quality video at iso levels that are realistic. And the color rendition is exemplary and typical Nikon.
So my summary would be that this is all you'll need unless your a professional that crops to insane pixel peeping levels.

pro specs in consumer body

great specs and features, it's nice that it is light ( much lighter than my Nikon D700, or D3, or D4, or D810 ), the build quality is not up to heavy duty, every day professional use. It is priced accordingly. Image quality is outstanding, file sizes are reasonable. The articulating LCD is a nice feature of somewhat limited value, and does feel a bit flimsy, use with caution.Read full review

Great DSLR, workhorse camera, advanced amateur go-to for Kodak moments

This camera was one of the best available DSLRs at the time of purchase. With the increase in price for the Nikon new mirrorless bodies and the need for an adapter with those bodies, this model and the newer D850 (even bigger and heavier) may still be good alternatives until battery life is improved with the mirrorless models, which IMHO were introduced to stave off Sony's inroads into the high end camera market. If the highest megapixel sensor, saving some bulk and weight regardless of price were the important factors, I would go D7 instead, but I am happy for now with my D750. Two separate recalls so far for the same issue makes me think I should have gone with a US model, although mine appears to work fine for over a year now, with no problems.Read full review

Took the Chance on a Gray Nikon market body

Working well at the moment. Firmware upgrades are on an international website so the only possible issue is mechanical failure or system issues. I've shot 3200 frames and it's working perfectly. I hope the Gray market gremlins stay at bay!! Firmware upgrade went well. no complaints. Performed well at the Auto Show this month.

Two years later and thousands more photos taken I am still thrilled. In this case Gray market made no difference in firmware upgrades or any technical issues. D750 is still my go to camera for most tasks. Added a battery grip and wrist strap and it is the B O M B! I'll look at the D850 but it will have to wow me to move away from the D750.

Excellent value, and in near new condition (no issues I can find)

It was set up for the rear button focus, so I was a little confused at first. I've never set up my camera to be used that way, but I think I prefer it. This way I can set my focus manually, before I shoot, and without having wasted frames due to a missed pressure.
The camera shoots really well with my 55-300mm Nikkor lens, since it is a higher megapixel than the one I use on the job, even at 50 to 75 feet I can take a good, crisp exposure in relatively low light.
