A Modern Classic

One of the last purely photographic tools made by Nikon. Made in Japan to last. Even now, coming up 10 years since its release in 2008, the D700 can still produce phenomenal images. The colours are vibrant and rich. The 12mp sensor is disregarded today as being somewhat anemic... by people with little creative flair who are only interested in the latest and greatest technological advances. Ignore them. You lose come cropping ability, sure. But; that 12mp sensor encourages you to frame your shots with more consideration and accuracy. And that can only be a good thing! I own more modern DSLRs, but this D700 will never be sold on.Read full review

Nikon 700
