Next generation Nikon D range

I bought this because it was cheaper to buy new than get a small fault fixed on my D7100.
I am glad now that I did as the new features are a big step up. Time lapse is so easy to use and the auto focus seems quicker and sharper with whatever lens I fit. Being able to use my smart phone as a remote with live viewing is great for wild life as you can be meters away. NFC and Wi-Fi are a great addition.
A good camera easy to use and giving fantastic results, no going back now, this is my favourite,

Top End enthusiast camera

I upgraded from the D7100 which was also a great camera. The upgrade was primarily for the faster Auto Focus and better processor and also the addition of WiFi.
I have been very pleased with this camera relatively light weight compared with its big brother D500. The D7200 produces excellent results and fine detailed pictures. Metering is almost always spot on so a good buy for those learning photography. It can be used as an Auto only or all functions including Manual setting. The AF seems very fast and accurate better than my wife D600 full frame.
Being DX format it has a huge range of lenses available for it.
If you don't need the heavy and rugged build of the D500 then this is the camera for you. As long as you don't throw it about it is still very able to take a few hard knocks and you save on neck ache.
