PERFECT for a budding photographer

I bought the Nikon CoolPix B500 camera bundle for my 14 yr old daughter's birthday. She LOVES photography & wanted to step up from her phone & an older, small little digital camera I gave her...it is PERFECT! She was SO excited to receive all the goodies that came with it & she got started right away! It takes BEAUTIFUL, clear pictures & the zoom aspect is GREAT! The camera bag is very nice & roomy. All the items it comes with are all she needed to start shooting right away! We DID go out & buy a set of rechargeable batteries with a charger because I know the regular batteries it came with won't last as long as her excitement does!! Nice camera for bird watchers. The zoom helps to get shots that you can't get close enough without it.
This is my second B500. I had dropped my other one too many times that the lens is off track. It isn't cost-effective to fix it because the lens got scratched as well. I know this camera and how it works and have gotten some once-in-a-lifetime shots with it,
