Wow this lens is sharp.

This is one of Nikons best lenses imho, a real gem of a lens. This is still a current production lens and can be bought new for good reason.

Not too heavy to carry around and quite compact with the hood down. I have trouble hand holding but I am old and really need VR help. But if you can keep it still you will be rewarded with those unique 3D like pictures which have amazing depth, contrast, colour saturation, and sharpness.

Sharp as a tack

Its a Nikon prime lens, ok, it was made in about 1993 but that's when this glass was manufactured in japan, not China as it is today.
