Excellent quality and very sturdy. I love it.
Has all the features I need from a dash cam. Cyclical recording, automatic start up upon ignition. Flashing light (not too bright or distracting) to let me know it’s recording and excellent picture quality. Just plug in and forget about it until you need it.
I love it. The magnetic holder makes is super easy to mount or remove the camera. The only issue is the “G-sensor” which automatically protects videos if it detects a bump to stop them being overwritten. It’s way too sensitive. It protects at least one clip per journey so I clear the footage by reformatting the memory card via the camera’s internal menu once a week. This isn’t difficult and is intuitive and straightforward via the cameras menu system.
I was looking for a camera that allowed me to mute the internal mic to stop audio recording, was realisable and came from a reputable brand and also had a “screen standby” option so it would continue to record although the screen would switch off so it wasn’t distracting me whilst driving This checks all 3.
I have set the camera screen to go into standby after 10 seconds of powering up so I know it’s switched on when I start the car and recording but thereafter goes black so it doesn’t distract me when driving. The camera also plays a reassuring little jingle upon power up so I know it’s on.
I purchased the Nextbase hardwire kit (sold separately) and this made it very easy to install without cables everywhere and freeing up the cigarette lighter port. The hardwire kit was standard so I probably could have got a cheaper unbranded version that would have sufficed but so be it. (Make sure if buying unbranded the hardwire kit comes with a fuse piggyback adaptor and spade connectors in the wires to it’s just plug-and-play)
I have the parking sensor active also so (according to the manual) if the camera registers an impact when the car is switched off when the car is parked the camera will switch on briefly and record footage using the internal battery but fortunately for me I haven’t had to reply on the feature yet. Helpful during a hit and run in a car park.
The menu is easy to navigate and the camera is sturdy and feels quality. It will no doubt come in useful in the event of a bump.
Ps like most dash cams it isn’t sold with a memory card so make sure to buy one so the camera can save the footage. Buy a quality Micro SD card as cyclical recording places a lot of demands on the memory card and footage can become corrupted on cheaper or fake SD Cards.Read full review

Value for money Dash Cam with limitations
Trouble with booting up at first ( supplier wasn't helpful), but now seems to work ok. screen shows front view and picture within picture inside car but not driver. Instructions a little confusing and scant which didn't help. Can change view to different cameras but not connected reversing one yet. Camera shuts off screen after a nominated time set by you, so not distracting and in your face when driving.
Down side is the screen is not show in HD. but is adequate for in car viewing. Will only record one camera at a time so you have to nominate what you want. I have not played back any recordings but I assume they will be in HD. on a computer, as claimed by manufacturer.
Overall a more versatile Dash Cam than my last Chinese ones which fell apart and didn't have an interior lens. Time will tell about qualityRead full review

Good value for money at the price break
At the price paid I had a few options, go for a cheap, Eastern brand and get no support or a branded cam at just over. Fortunately this sits perfectly in terms of pricing and features. Full HD, parking mode, a screen that turns off during driving, loop recording and Nextbase support if needed. I hard wired the cam to fuse box, so no clutter and works fine using a branded, high capacity memory card. A bit grainy at night - registration plates can be made out though! Daytime image is fine as long as you point the camera down a bit and avoid glare from sunlight.Read full review

Nextbase in-car camera.
This in-cam is an excellent product and extremely easy to use with its foolproof operation. The downloadable instruction manual is very easy to understand and covers all aspects of the device. I set my camera up before installation by using my mobile phone charger with no problems. Once fitted to my windscreen behind the rear view mirror the device is unobtrusive. As long as you can see the red indicator light flashing you know the camera is working satisfactorily. I would recommend this camera.Read full review

Car cam works well could do with a connection straight to fuse box for power and English instructions would been helpful but found it on YouTube
Works well and easy to fit just should have came with fuse wire connect to the fuse box as it takes up too much space on the cigarette lighter so I got someone to fit 4 me charged me £20 and in the picture below you will see how it's been done and no English instructions the one wire for the rear cam goes to your reverse lights if anyone's buys this itemRead full review

Good feature and price
Has been a good order, no issues. Concerning the device itself, we got it installed rather than have wires showing in the car. Haven't looked at record function playback yet.

"Penny wise pound foolish" Please don't buy
There is saying that "Penny wise pound foolish" . I was trying to save money on dash cam as much as possible, so when I show the price I thought this is the best price but i end up paying about Pound. I paid 50.00 pound to install the camera and that the cheapest fitter I found, the other was asking for 80.00 or 60 pounds. Then I have to buy hard wire to connect direct with battery that will cost about 8.50 pound and you will need memory card that will cost around 6 to 7 pound. To set up menu is not user friendly, the use manna is not very clear, very tiny fonts and does not explain very good. After spending so much money it's very disappointed by the way the camera works. all of sudden it's change the recording mode, so at a time it's recording the from and all of sudden it's start recording inner side? why you to record you self? The battery only last for 1 minutes so when you need to set up the camera it has to be plug in all the time. To cut the long story in short it's absolutely rubbish. please don't buy honestly.Read full review
Few little issues but not bad for the money
1/My cars cigarette lighter is on permanently so if you want to retain the auto turn on in the event of a bump while you are away from the car you have to shut your doors without much force or the camera will turn back on as you leave the car. The only way around this I imagine it to have the camera hard wired into the ignition side or turn the shock activation off altogether. Not ideal for many.
2/ I find the screenquite dark even in god daylight and I wish you could turn the brightness up when on. My previous cam an RAC one had a brighter screen.
Apart from the annoying (to me) above this dash cam is working fine and is quite reasonable fo the money.
