Camera= Yes, Mount= Big NO!
The camera itself is good, 2x 720p.
Unfortunately the mount is total rubbish, I have purchased a third party mount with narrow clamp to hold the camera between GPS and power cables. I have removed the GPS module and fixed it to the camera body. Now the camera can be easily removed and stays in place.
The original mount is good only if you want the camera to be in the car all the time (some superglue and it will stay in place) Read full review

Do I need it?
In todays driving environment it makes sense to record your journeys should you be unfortunate to become involved in an incident or accident.
In my opinion this product is as good as any and better than most, excellent quality, simple to use and at a reasonable price.
