Very good but unstable on WiFi.
I really like our Nest thermostat but I wish it was more stable on the WiFi. It’s learning our schedule well, but loses it’s WiFi connection eVery few days.
I bought a second room sensor and that doesn’t stay on the WiFi more than a few hours at a time.its basically useless but not really necessary anyway.

Wished I Bought it Sooner!!!
The only regret I have is that I didn't buy it sooner! The installation was so simple, I did it myself. The company provides detailed instructions for installation that take all the guesswork out of it. I love how easy it it to set up a schedule. If I want it cooler or warmer, I either use the app on my phone or change it directly on the thermostat. I also like that there is a lock out feature that assures no one without the code can change it. I love the way it looks on my wall, too! Doesn’t work even when website said it would
This thermostat relies on your furnace to power it. That being said, if you don’t have a brand new heater it will cause problems. After purchasing I read numerous reviews of people having the same problems. A loud buzzing noise coming from electrical on furnace. Was told by a tech that it needed a common wire, but when asked him if that extra power source being on the same circuit would cause problems with my heater he said not to. SO easy to install and use!
I bought this to replace a 1st gen Nest. It was even easier to install than that one. It took me longer to find my WiFi password than it did to have this ready to go.
The copper ring is lovely. Apparently it is real copper. The old Nest was easy to see, but this one is better. A slightly (very slightly) lower profile is nice, too.
