I bought these on a whim really and at the price point how could I not, in use they are pretty good but if it's windy change them for a solid rod type, they clip as required, running or grip tight as per the type and work quite well, worth a look as a back up and well worth carrying in your kit for this pupose.Read full review

Better than expected

These bobbins are perfect for my needs, despite being cheap to buy they are well made. I particularly like the way the line is trapped, the line is held very securely but releases easily on a take. There are bobbins that cost far more than these but these NGT ones do the job admirably.Read full review

NGT Bite alarm

Looks the part but the chain came off from the robin on first use. I had to repair the item when I got home. Pity because the item is competatively priced but needs this area improving in quality.

Not the best bobbins. They're very hard to set to easily slip over the line & then can become quite loose at the screw section. But for the price they're good enough. Just not up to standard.
