the plug for classic Jaguar
for Jaguar XK120 140 150 and E type..NGK BP5ES or BP6ES (which is one step colder--for more sustained rpm driving)..this is the plug. be sure to NOT use modern hi resistance plug wires..they are way too high..as in 10,000 to 40,000 ohm per foot. You want zero to 1,000 per foot.) ALSO..note that many sellers list his plug but look closely or ask..they ship the newer RESISTANCE plug..BPR5ES...it will work but has 5,000 ohm resistance each plug. With a new plug--new plug gasket..tighten firm finger or super light wrench tight, the 3/4 of one turn..no more. Use an anti-seize on plug thread--sparingly. Gap at 022 for older distributors, 025 to 028 for rebuilt but stock.Read full review
