The two APs we have tested have both worked fine. Value was great and delivery too. Some of the APs look a little worse for wear, but what can you expect at that price?

Great value for the price

Don't let the end of life tag on the netgear site put you off, this unit still has a lot of uses for anyone needing an access point.
For home or small users you'll be running this unit in stand alone mode.
Go to the netgear download centre and download the following firmware packages 2.1.12 - 3.5.23.0 - 3.6.9.0
Extract the .tar from the zip and install in the order shown above. (takes about 10 minutes) when its done go to 192.268.0.100 and configure network and wifi to fit your needs (by default you get an unsecured hotspot) - (also turn off cloud management). Connect to your router and all should be working.Read full review

Netgear WDNAP360 Access point

I have purchased a lot of new unused WDNAP360 from Ebay and got a good prices, these units only need one or two firmware updates to be bang up to latest spec. Units work well over POE and has 2.5 and 5G also external Ariel connections. These are business grade units but if you have a busy house for WiFi this will work a treat.Read full review

Unfortunately its an end of life product that will not work with the latest firmware.

A great AP in its day, but it is now end of life expired and will not operate at all if re-configured.
