Nice once it's setup

So far so good! I'm using it as a bridge & it works wonderfully! It was a bit difficult to setup initially because it had not been factory reset. I had to go back & forth with it for a while before I could even access the router login page to change the settings. From there though - it was a breeze. i get 400 download from spectrum and 20 upload and at best i get with this netgear nighthawk i get 300 download and 20 upload.my netgear nighthawk said it will go up to like 800 but 300 is more than enough.i have no problem with me and two people on wifi at same time.for like $70 it is a good cheap upgrade from my tp link router.got hear fast.Read full review

Great Router

I have use the router for work, home, Arduino ethernet networking. I configure the router for static I.P. address connectivity to my work network. I have not tested the wireless distance capabilities yet. The router takes sometime to start up, but once it fully boots it works fine. I have connected several cell phones to the 5G signal which seems to work fine and some computers to the 2.4G and did not notice any slow down in speeds. The setup was simple. The size is a little big compared to some new routers but it works for me with what I do. I have not upgraded the firmware yet and still I have some features I need to test, but the router does the job I need it to do. I have had the router for about a month now.Read full review

Marginal router

I’ve had it two weeks and it needs reset about every other day. The USB option to connect a hard drive seems very fickle and the two portable drives I currently have will not work.

Update: after 2 months this is the worst money ever spent on a product. Might work for two days at a time if you are lucky. Goin to get another router that is not Netgear.Read full review
