I can only vouch for the quality of this item in regards to the superb open, detailed and warm sound from the built in phono input. Gold plated phono plugs just for phono indicate that this amp has been treated to something truly amazing. Paired with mission speakers, I am hearing things in the music that I have never heard before. The NAD 302 is one of the finest budget amplifier I ever listened to. It comes with a high quality phono stage and one of the finest NAD preamp circuits. Although the power output is just 25W per channel, it has plenty of peak power to drive any sort of speakers. This amplifier is a hidden gem as it projects an impressive sound stage and a refined and musical sound despite beign not famous as its predecessor (NAD3020). Nice Nad Amp

This little Nad amplifier really belts out the goods! I had one when I was a student back in the day (when students got grants!) and it was faultless. This one is just as good, living up to Nads reputation for tough machines. Nice phono stage which is easily as good as the basic ones available as seperate units and excellent sound quality even at low volumes.
