Replacement component, easy to fit

My weather station could no longer access the wind speed/direction, and I decided to take a punt at replacing the sender unit rather than going to the cost of buying a new kit.
I live aboard a boat and value the one-screen information that the weather station offers.
The price of the component was pretty acceptable, and the unit came within a short time.
Very easy to replace, simple plugs similar to those that go in the back of a phone or router...the main thing to remember is to identify each of the two feeder cables before making the change, to save tracing each back to source.
Worked straight out of the box.

My old one packed up so bought this as a replacement and it worked without having to do anything other than remove the batteries from the base station wait one minute and then put back to make it search for the signal,

You may not find this works with your base unit.

I bought this as a replacement as mine would stop sending when temperature was below 18C. This is white where my unit is grey, also the PCB looks different. So be careful and ask questions, find the year of manufacture if you can and make sure the model number is OK.Read full review
