Old ones are still the best!

This is my second A1 amp by MF and i have also still got a 27 year old B1 as well. I am no electronics expert but the warmth of the sound they produce is just superb and it is an absolute pleasure to listen to my music using these amps. One thing, they do (the A1 especially) run warm and so don't go placing anything on top or beneath them! £300 will get you one of these and in my opinion the difference in musical quality between these and new amps of the same price range is huge.Read full review

In the top three amps under 40w along with A&R A60 and Marantz 1060. Down side outputs can blown as its runs within a inch of its life but the parts are cheap and easy to fix.
