Definitely noise cancelling
These headphones are brilliant , they are ideal for when you are doing anything noisy .You can feel the weight on your head but they are not uncomfortable - listening to music or whatever while doing anything noisy and you won't notice the weight - though I say weight they are not unduly heavy but they do clamp down on your head which is essential to cut down on background noise .I would recommend them .Read full review

Good for makers
I work on a CNC machine for a few hours a day and these do a great job of blocking the sound out so that you dont have to have the headphones turned all the way up

I thought I had picked the perfect headphones, but I’m afraid not.
The headphones work far too tight on my head, and after half an hour, they hurt my ears. Also, I wish to be able to use the noise cancelling without using the earphone part, but don’t seem to be able to do this.
