Good looking, reliable brand
Amazing! I was looking for this shape Morphy Richards with Brita for long time. I had mine for 8 years and just lid wouldn't shut properly so boiling took ages. Had to get rid off. Bought Breville but not as good as morphy. Looks almost identical, so must be as good as old type. Time will tell but happy to find this type kettle again on the market. well done Morphy Richards, You made us happy againRead full review

Good but not of great build quality
I had a Morphy Richards filter kettle for 8 years and when it finally gave up the ghost I wanted to replace it with like for like. However, the range of filter kettles is greatly reduced now so there really wasn't a great choice. So I stuck with Morphy Richards and purchased this one.
The one thing that hit me straight away is the difference in quality from my previous version. You can easily see that it was much cheaper to produce, it was lighter and does not feel substantial enough to last. Of course, this is just my opinion but I believe that if this one lasts four years then I would have done well.
I have nothing to complain performance wise and it does the job well although the water collection well could have done with being bigger as you have to fill it a couple of times to get a reasonable amount of water in the kettle.
So, in conclusion, this is a nice filter kettle that does the job but the quality does not inspire - but I would not put you off from buying it because the water quality from a filter kettle is so superior.Read full review

Lighter than the older version, with rapid boiling and just one minor drawback.
I have an older version of this item which has served me very well for a number of years. This updated version has just one drawback in that the upper filling chamber seems too small compared with the lower chamber and there are cut outs for the lid hinge and it is easy to try to fill it to the top only to find that unfiltered water is pouring into the lower filtered water chamber. The older version top filling chamber has a capacity about twice the volume of the new one. This makes it more time consuming to fill up the kettle for say a few cups of tea/ or coffee at a time. That said, it is lighter than the older version, it works well and I am pleased with the purchase.Read full review

Filter kettle
Bought this filter kettle to replace a Russel Hobbs filter kettle which failed after only 3 years (would no longer switch off). The Morphy Richards is solidly made and functions well, only time will tell as to it's reliability.
As far as is design features it doesn't have a see-through body like the Russel Hobbs or the blue LED, but it is a lot cheaper.
The handle seems to be be designed the wrong way round, sloping inward towards the top giving it a funny feel; most coffee pots of similar shape have the handle sloping in towards the bottom.. This coupled with the fact that it is much heavier than the Russel Hobbs makes it difficult to feel in control when pouring. Aside to these negatives it does the job, and we can only hope it lasts longer than the Russel Hobbs.Read full review

Morphy Richards Brita Filter Kettle
Had the same make and model for over 10 years and eventually the automatic push button lid broke, otherwise kettle was still going strong. Bought this kettle as a replacement. Quite happy although the lid has been changed to a manual open/close function which is rather flimsy in my opinion. Hope it lasts 10 years like it's ancestor did.Read full review

Morphy Richards Filter kettle
I've always used filter kettles as I live in a hard water area.
It is not as sturdy as my last one and the opening to fill isn't as good but I am still glad I bought it.

Does What is Needed
Would have given 5* except for one thing.
When filling with water it is unavoidable for a small amount to settle around and underneath the lid. Eventually, this results in a lime scale build up and the lid becomes difficult to open and close.
Apart from that it works well - I have bought these kettles beforeRead full review

Great kettle in every way.
Love this kettle. Having the filter in it is great - filtering tap water is beneficial.
It looks good, works well & is totally reliable. The lid is also easy to use - unlike some kettles.

Good Brita Filter kettle
A good kettle but not as good as the previous version
Seems to take less water in the filter and the lid doesn’t spring up
