great tank for the price

I brought this tank to replace my old 4 ft tank which was only 225 litres. this one is 300 litres. the fish are happy and viewing is great. I only have goldfish so ditched the heater so cannot comment on that part. the filter seems to be working great although it's only a sponge which is only available from the company where you buy the fish tank. the base seems strong but is Matt white not gloss. I cannot find a back drop big enough to go on the back of the tank so this will also need to be brought from the same company. All in all I think it's great for the price.Read full review

300 litre tank and stand...

This is a great product, It is tall (the tank) broad but quite narrow. Not a problem usually, but the narrowness of the tank means that I have had to use cooling fans during hot spells. No great issue, but please monitor temps if you buy this - or indeed any other tank during very hot spells. The smaller the top surface area the greater chance of overheating. Other than that, this is a great buy, the construction means no solid front corners in the tank to obstruct the view, a brilliant concept. The overhead filter is great, does it's job very well. Bargain!

This tank is absolutely wonderful!
It is a show tank- with blue and white LED lights so if your looking for a natural look this may not be for you.
I decided to replace the built in filter with my own external filter- as I'm housing cichlids so need a higher filter rate.
My only criticism would be the manual- the directions were sometime a little vague- but perseverance is key!!

Not worth the money

Nice to look at but scratches very easy filter provided not very good quality in all not worth the money.

Lovely tank. Looks fantastic in out porch. However first water change and glass cleaning was a nightmare. This is due to the lid design only a small bit opens to allow access to the tank and there is a large section of glass in the middle. I can deal with it just makes it a pain.Read full review
