I purchased this Alarm set for the static caravan we purchased & bought to protect our 5 yr old grandson , in his bedroom, as boys will be boys as will kids, so have me a piece of mind that when we put him to bed, that if he opened the window we would here the alarm go off ,

Simple, loud and easy to use
Very easy to put on your windows. I like the "you are protected" that can be seen from the outside as a deterrent, along with the flashing LED.
The alarm is loud and would wake you up if the window was opened.
Like Milenco say, they could be used to make you aware that a child has opened a window.
As with many of these things, people can always get around them. Once the window is opened they just need to push a switch or smash the unit.
For me it was a cheapish way of adding a slight deterent, providing something that may wake you if burgled on a night or day.
As always if someone wants to get in, then they always can.. but you assess the cost to value part and I feel these workRead full review

motorhome safer
We had a break in to our motorhome via a window. On the thieves way out by opening the door the alarm went off. So we looked for something for our windows. All of milenco products are good so we thought we would give it a try. We managed to fix all large opening windows with the alarms at a minimal cost (less than £30) we were quoted by a professional excess of £350. The individual alarms are very loud. The kit comes with warning stickers .Unfortunately whether you pay mega bucks or like we did buy this kit people will still break the window before the alarms go off, but at least they wont get in and steal your stuff before the alarm goes off. A brilliant idea
Have fitted these to all the windows and the door in my caravan. It was so easy to do, took about 5 minutes. Windows can be left on sleep catch slightly open for a bit of air without alarm going off. Like the fact they can be easily switched off during the day if you want to open a window. Makes me feel much safer, particularly at night.Read full review

For large motorhomes six is not enough. I have fitted two sets giving me one spare. Fitted one at each roof opening, three in my case, plus the washroom and the kitchen. The two front doors also require one each. For personal safety against break in, or extra unwanted ferry passengers leading to a £2,000. fine, why leave home without them. Easy fit, took about one hour to fit eleven. You only need to 'arm them' when you are not sure of your surroundings.Read full review

Very loud for size and batteries used. Stick very firmly (not going to come off without using a solvent). We have dark privacy windows so the (MILENCO ALARM & FLASHING LED) are not that visible when installed. When installing make sure where you are going to fix them is the best place to put them and that they work in that position because once the sticky touches the window it is not going to come off.Read full review

Easy to install, conspicuous deterrent with warning led and Alarm sign visible through the window. Loud alarm and facility to deactivate when not required. I was able to position the activating magnets so it's possible to lock the windows in the slightly ajar position to provide ventilation while still being protected by the alarm.
