Mighty Mule gate opener

I have it on the gate to our property so that when we leave the horses do not have an exit from the property. It is well design with the soft close adjustment keeps the gate from banging on its closure or when it opens. The delay automatic closure is really good. When I come home and open the gate I do not need to be concerned about closing as it will automatically. I have it set at the two minute limit.

Works great kinda slow

Works great tons of setting options to fit all your needs all accessories were easy to install could be a little faster since my gate is way under the max length and weight

Buy something else

Wait till a lightening storm. This is the third one I’ve owned. The transformer will blow. The motor in the arm will blow. In general the Mighty Mule gate opener is cheaply made. Wait ‘till the control board blows. That’s very expensive. Just junk it and buy another brandRead full review

Not reliable but at least they're cheap...sort of

I've owned quite a few of these...unfortunately. They will work for about 2 years before they run into issues. Basically think of them more as an expense than a durable product.

Dead Battery
